Response of Annotated Bibliography Grade
I feel that I deserve better. I do not deserve better on that particular copy of the annotated bibliography. I did not know there were two other parts that we had to write about. I was under the impression that the annotated bibliography was just a summary of the sources we were using. I also do not appreciate the comment telling me that I can do better. I know what I am capable of doing. I do believe that I can do better, but you did not know the reason behind why my annotated bibliography was the way it was. I feel that once I bring the other annotated bibliography to the next class, I deserve a check plus. My annotated bibliography would have followed the structure it is supposed to follow if I would have know there were two other parts. Thus, I believe that since I now know there are two other parts and will follow the structure and go into depth with each source that I deserve a check plus.

Some of the sentences run on and are not as thought out as they could have been. I think that the word "know", at the bottom of the paragraph was intended to have been, "known".
Almost all of the senctences begin with "I". Maybe make some changes to create some diversity between sentences. Did not really make you seem credible over all (ethos) because you seemed to be venting instead of calmly giving reasons for your feelings.
It is always interesting to see another side of something. Rightfully so you both should feel offended if you put in the work for a solid bibliography! The difference is, many of your classmates did not and you should be embarrassed at what some of them turned in!
College is interesting--it's a time when there is no more coddling, but instead tough love. I grade papers that are on an 8th grade level--not because students can't do better, but because they are lazy. Laziness at this point in life or after won't be rewarded, so if it takes an ol' English teacher to get them off their duffs, so be it. I'm looking out for your peers and by turning in papers that are actually well written, so are you...you give them something to work towards.
On another note, your second bibliography was FANTASTIC. So see, you CAN do better; I was infinitely proud of your bibliography then and of your soundtrack now. You writing has grown exponentially.
